Santo y Elegía is a poetic tribute to love and longing. The lyrics draw direct inspiration from the biblical narrative in which Jesus resurrected Jairus’ daughter, uttering the words “Talitha Cumi,” which translate to “Little girl, I say to you, arise” (Mark 5:41).

The song’s accompanying music video pays homage to the work of iconic cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa, celebrated for his portrayal of Mexican landscapes and folklore in black and white.
